Frank Katasse
Frank Henry Kaash Katasse was born in Petersburg, Alaska and raised in Juneau, Alaska. He is Tsaagweidí (Split Killer Whale) from the Eagle moiety in the Tlingit tribe from Southeast Alaska. He is an actor, director, producer, and playwright. He majored in Theatre at the University of Hawaii: Mānoa where he performed with the University's theatre program, and improv group, as well as Kumu Kahua Theatre. Since receiving his Bachelor's Degree, he now lives and works in Juneau. He is involved with Juneau’s Perseverance Theatre, Theatre in the Rough, and Morally Improvrished. Frank also has acted in short films, and contributed as a script developer for other independent playwrights.
Frank currently serves as the Vice President of Juneau Douglas Little Theatre. He is passionate about developing Alaskan talent for the stage; be it training actors, improvisors, writers, directors, or crew. He and his wife Stacy have two beautiful children, Autumn and Kaash.
